New Delhi: In a crucial match in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, India delivered a stellar performance against Sri Lanka in Dubai on 9th October, Wednesday, showcasing their strength and unity on the field.
The batter was looking in great touch as they smashed 172/3 on a pitch which was not so flat or easy to bat, the highest score in the tournament so far and the bowlers shot the Sri Lankans down for just 90. A return of form from seniors Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana was exceptional and there were skilful three-wicket hauls from Asha Sobhana and Arundhati Reddy.
