New Delhi: In a remarkable feat, thirteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made history by becoming the fastest centurion for India in U-19 Tests and the second-fastest overall. This incredible achievement was accomplished when he scored 104 runs against Australia U-19 in the first unofficial Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday. Suryavanshi, who had an overnight score of 81 not out in 47 balls, reached his century in just 11 balls, solidifying his place in the history books.
The left-handed opener was finally dismissed. His innings was constituted by 14 fours and four sixes. Overall, England all-rounder Moeen Ali leads the chart with a 56-ball hundred which he scored back in 2005. Earlier, Australia U-19 scored 293 all out in the first innings.
