Will the Lakers continue their winning streak? The Cavaliers may have a win streak of 15 games, but the Lakers are on a five-game winning streak of their own. In the NBA, any team can pull off a win on any given night. If the Lakers come out victorious on Tuesday, it will mark their 10th win of the season and solidify their strong start.

2. Undefeated in Los Angeles: Lakers fans have yet to experience a disappointing day at the home arena. The team is 6-0 at home, so in addition to vying for a sixth-straight win, it will be vying to remain undefeated at home.

3. Positives for the Jazz: Utah is 3-10, as the team is rebuilding and reshaping. Still, for the basketball diehards, there’s interesting stuff to take away from every team. John Collins seems more comfortable in his second season with the Jazz. He leads the team at 17.5 points per game and also has averaged 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game as well. Keyonte George has taken over as Utah’s starting point guard in his sophomore season and has averaged 14.7 points and 5.5 assists per contest. Walker Kessler was bringing it on the defensive end, though he has missed four games with a hip issue and may not return for this one.

4. The Lakers’ dynamic duo is delivering: Los Angeles, as a team, is built around Anthony Davis and LeBron James, two future Hall of Famers. The Lakers go as Davis and James go, and they have both been stellar. Davis is not just having a 20-and-10 season, but a 30-and-10 season, and he’s averaged 2.0 blocks per game. James, on the other hand, is coming for Russell Westbrook’s territory. He recently had four triple-doubles in a row and is not that far from averaging a triple-double.

5. The third man for the Lakers: Obviously, the sixth man gets a lot of love in the NBA, but for a team built around two superstars of the game, attention falls to who beyond that duo is contributing the most. In this instance, that would be Austin Reaves. He is the only Laker outside of James to start all 13 games this season. He’s third in points at 18.0 per game and second in assists in 5.5 per contest. Nobody else on the team has averaged more than 12.7 per game, so Reaves’ scoring has proved important to this hot start for his squad.
